Theme related problem
« on: April 29, 2010, 10:25:04 AM »
Now I am using PCLOS 2010, KDE 4. I want to change the window style. How can I set the window border including title bar to be transparent? I was using PCLOS 2007 days ago and I like the window display style in that version very much.

this option doesn't depend on the window style

the only transparent window decoration i know is on compiz fusion and emerald

can you run compiz?  please verify that you have it installed

there is many themes in kde-look.org with this details you mention

i can't remember 2007 settings, wasn't la ora window decoration or the xp imitation?

So far as I know 2 window decorations support transparency for KDE4 :

Aurorae: http://kde-look.org/index.php?xcontentmode=21  (it's now supported by default since KDE 4.4)

Crystal: http://kde-look.org/content/show.php/Crystal?content=75140

The Crystal WinDeco is in repositories  (Texstar can remove the Aurorae rpm from repos because it's added in KDE 4.4 :)  ).
