Hi. The configuring tool on my system (2010 KDE) shows the time zone as Australia/ACT. I selected Sydney but the buttons are greyed out. I have tried to run the command
systemsettings -caption "%c" %i
but got no response except from a root konsole:
# -1systemsettings -caption "%c" %i
systemsettings: Unexpected argument '%i'.
systemsettings: Use --help to get a list of available command line options.
# -1systemsettings -caption "%c"
systemsettings(6858): KUniqueApplication: Cannot find the D-Bus session server: "/usr/bin/dbus-launch terminated abnormally with the following error: No protocol specified
Autolaunch error: X11 initialization failed.
Help was not helpful.
The configuration tool says "You will be asked to authenticate before saving" but there is no way to apply the change because the button is greyed out. Is there some way of making the change other than logging in as root (assuming that would work).
