I tried a couple HD tuner cards in the PCI EX1 slot on the motherboard and tried to set up mythtv. In both cases, the cards were not detected. I tried an older PCI tuner card I had and it was detected just fine. My question is, does Linux support the PCI EX1 slot? I would hope so since this has been standard on motherboards for some time now. If it does support it, is there something special that needs to be done? By the way, the cards I tried were a Diamond ATI Wonder HD650 and a Hauppage Win-TV HVR 1250.
