[SOLVED]Thunderbird- Bold Won't "Stick"
« on: April 22, 2010, 07:57:58 AM »
In Thunderbird, the bold function doesn't "stick". After selecting it, then opening the compose window again, it's back to the way it was. I previously had a solution that no longer seems to work. I want my text to be bold in both sent & received messages. Any ideas?

Go to edit > accounts and select "Composition & Addressing".  Tick "Compose messages in HTML format" (first tick).

Good luck.

I already did that. Any other suggestions?

Go to edit > accounts and select "Composition & Addressing".  Tick "Compose messages in HTML format" (first tick).

Good luck.

Well - the only other thing I can thing of is to go to edit > preferences > composition.  In HTML click on "Send Options".  Under "Text Formal"  choose "Sent the message in HTML anyway".

Works for me.  Sent one to myself and all is well.

Good luck

That didn't work, either.
