i have 2 9500gt nvidia cards and the livecd does not recognize them correctly . to get things to work with the gnome cd i get a screen asking if i want to edit the settings.so i change from 6100 series to fx then i cant hit test as it will get stuck in the test loop.so if i dont hit test it works fine.then i install the latest drivers by setting the innitab to default 3 load the drivers change innitab back to 5 and reboot.then upon reboot i set the sli option and all is fine.
to get kde working i had to copy my xorg from the gnome install to get it to work right.as with kde it never gave me the option to edit the settings.also with my sli setup the vesa option does not work i had to use the nv setting.
gnome works fine
lxde works fine
kde may be a bad burn but does not unless copying xorg from gnome which works great.
