LXDE 2010 so far

Hello All!

First the PC specs

                                    Laptop Dell C840                                 Desktop Dell Optiplex GX620

Display                           15" UXGA                                           19" Planar PE191M
Chipset                           Intel 845MP                                         Intel 950
Video                             nVidia GeForce4 440 Go                         Onboard Intel 950
Ram                              1GB                                                   3GB

I have loaded the LXDE 2010 on both PC's.
Neal, let me first thank you for adding HALEVT. Now when I plug in my MP3 player or load a blank DVD, the appropiate application comes up.

Frankly I have experienced ZERO problems. Everything is working and working well!

The laptop's touchpad was overly sensitive with the Beta, but is smooth now. The video worked right away.

Both PC's are very fast.

Neal, I want to thnak you, Texstar and everyone else that took the time to produce this outstanding distro. I am looking forward to further dazzling my co-workers with the quick boot ups, quick install, and fully usable without buying anything else.

On my laptop I have installed qsynaptics and turned off "tapping" because when typing the touchpad interprets the typing on the keyboard as tapping on the touchpad.............. and the text ends up all over the place. ::)

+1 Y'all did good, Real Good.... ;) Installed the LXDE Mini and haven't even thought about reinstalling MiniMe '09 yet. Fast doesn't really cover it, Awesome, just Freaking Awesome....

++1   Great job on this one!  Fast doesn't begin to describe the speed, does it?  Boots up and ready to go in seconds - wow :)  Coming over from KDE 3.5, I'm still feeling my way around, but no major problems - everything works as it should.  Thanks to all involved in putting together this great release!
