Lightscribe is in the repos. Launch Synaptic, click Reload > Mark all upgrades > Apply and then Search and put lightscribe in the field.

I have Lightscribe install it works ok.I can not find 4L.I have 4L install on last version,it let you use a label that you design.With out 4L you have to use the standard templets.

 Went to Advanced users section.Did the install as stated in davecs thread.So far it looking good If I run into any problems will post back
