Did you check your download to verify it was good? Did you burn the iso at the lowest setting your burner would accept? Can you provide a screenshot? Nobody reported an issue with Firefox in our beta tests. Might be a bad burn or install.

Thanks to everyone who donates. You keep the servers running.

Tex isn't suggesting a reinstall, he  wants to know if you verified the download with the md5sum data and burned the disk as slow as possible.

If you do not know how to do the md5sum part, it is pretty simple. It verifies that your downloaded data is complete and correct. You do this before you burn the disk.

OK  - I just ran a checksum test on the ISO image and it's correct.

OK  - I just ran a checksum test on the ISO image and it's correct.

Now do the same on the burned disk. Place it in the tray, load it, then from the terminal;

$ md5sum /dev/<whatever>

Replace <whatever> with the correct device designation for your drive.

I had a similar problem when I first used PClinuxOS. It turned out that I had not configured my video card/monitor properly!
Once I got the proper resolution match between my video card and my monitor, FF worked fine.

brencam,,

Which graphics card is it?

If its an older ATI card try using the options part of PCC > configure graphical server  to choose iirc "use exa rendering.. " or similar option.

Also was the install over an existing home? do you have any addons/persona's installed within the FF profile?
