sound in xfce
« on: April 19, 2010, 12:49:52 PM »
I installed XFCE Phoenix in the last weekend. Overall I am satisfied. But I can not get the sound right. How do I adjust to get it right? Do I have to add programs to synaptic?

molen,

Can you give us more information?

What do you mean when you say "I can not get the sound right." Precisely, what do you mean?

Can you also provide a) the specs for your computer and sound card, and b) what you have tried so far.

The more information you can provide, the better chance for a successful resolution of your issues.

Thanks!

Try to go to the panel and click on the speaker (near to the clock), then add ther the mixer, then you should be able to have sound right. If your problem its another, please describe more.
