tiny, unreadable fonts on lxde livecd

I encountered several issues when installing from pclinuxos-lxde-2010.iso

On several screens during the install I was presented with menus that had fonts so small that they were not readable.
I just clicked the button on the right-hand side and I seem to have gotten lucky and after a few tries I got it installed.

Even after the install and a reboot I was presented with a couple of these screens.

Maybe this is a known issue.

I've not encountered this on any of my machines. All fonts were of readable size, and there were no changes of font size from one pane of the installer and the next.

I have a magnifying glass and even with that it was not readable.  Not sure what else to say.
I have Unichrome graphics.

It looked like it went into a super hi-res mode.  After the install I haven't seen that kind of issue.

I am guessing that one screen was either a language or keyboard selection form.

The keyboard selection screen appears at the end of boot up. It is the first configuration utility that is encountered.

and the fonts were large ..  when I got to the desktop they were back to normal...well smallish.. for my AAO 9 inch but it comes pretty well out with the AAO

Of course I have no idea why it happened. I was connected to a Sony bravia and I think otherwise the install was at 800x600
except these problematic screens. I am guessing that some of the utilities determined the resolution incorrectly.

I would have to mount the .iso and unsquash the squashfs file to try to figure it out, right?

Check in /var/logs.
