USB key installations are not supported at this time. We are looking to port Fedora's LiveUSBCreator program to PCLinuxOS. A package might be available at later date.

Thanks to everyone who donates. You keep the servers running.

Welcome to the forum dyndres.  ;)

How did you create the live-USB of 2010?
I use 2010 as a live-USB, but it does not presently support "persistence".

I created the live-USB in this way
http://www.pclinuxos.com/forum/index.php/topic,62202.0.html

Some more information should help get your 2010 working on live-USB.

regards.

It is not the method that causes that .....  the incorrect shut down sequence is being called, which causes it.
I posted about that previously I think .......  but if when running live from a USB stick you delete the  /etc/rc.d/init.d/halt    file, and rename the   /etc/rc.d/init.d/halt.livecd    file to    /etc/rc.d/init.d/halt   then the stick will shut down correctly.

I did not bother digging any deeper, reckoning that it would be corrected quite soon.
I thought it might have been corrected for the re-issued ISOs ......  but have not checked them.

Hehe ......  I like to control what happens to memory sticks, and presently have three releases on one stick and have eight on another including PartitionMagick ----  both are 4 GB sticks.   ;D ;D ;D

If that makes me geeky then I am guilty  ;D

None of the utilities that I have looked at allows such versatility.   ;)
