Openoffice Calc crashing when deleting a row [SOLVED]

Am running full KDE 2010 fully updated (OO 3.2.0). Everytime I delete a row the whole thing freezes, uses ~50% of the CPU and I have to kill the process. I can delete the individual cells, but not entire rows.

I have increased the memory usage to 256Mb! Anyone else get this behaviour.

Just tested it and its deleting rows (and columns) fine.

Edit: was this sheet created in OOo or an import from another app?

yeah, it happened on mine too.
If the tables were long and populated with data, deleting a single row took a minute on dual core, and stalled (or not because it too long) on a netbook with Atom.
Maybe it is related with undo cache or something, still searching.

I'd suggest going to the OOo web site and looking their.

Maybe a Java issue - have you got the Java Runtime Environment selected in Tools > Options > OOo > Java ?

menotu - I think you hit the nail on the head. Checked java and it wasn't selected so had to add the path. Can delete rows now to my hearts content. Seems like todays update to java has not updated all the relevant links!
