I have installed vim-common, vim-enhanced, vim-minimal and vim-X11, but still can't get vim to function as it should.
It opens files and displays them on the screen, but I can't get into editing mode by pressing the Insert key.
I am using pclos2010 KDE with my old /home. I have a Logitech Internet 350 keyboard (UK layout) and use the en_GB locale. Any help would be most welcome.
