Kradio (KDE4)
« on: April 19, 2010, 12:55:47 AM »
Hi,

Can anybody tell me if Kradio is available for 2010.  I can't seem to find it anywhere!.... not in the install or the repos.

Regards,
mlc

There's version 4.0 out (for KDE4) as source. Should be filed under "package suggest" then ...  ;)
Best regards

Thanks Leiche,  I use Amarok for internet radio, Kradio is for a TV/FM Tuner card, ie terrestial FM radio transmission.

Thanks also Tuxfriend, maybe that's the answer. Did check out the website before the query, but thought that there might be an RPM floating around. It's a bit of a shame that continuity of this sort of program is not maintained. The same thing happened with XDTV, which I found very good and nowhere near as complex as Mythtv. I know it (xdtv) was stopped being maintained but the last version was still relatively simple to set-up and use, yet allowed for viewing and recording.
