I don't know if this is the place to report this so relocate it as necessary.

I found the "pclinuxos-kde-2010.iso" and installed it and the install went very well without noticeable problems.

The first things I did were to set the firewall, do the repository speed test, and then download updates. There were only a few updates and I rebooted after they were installed. By the way, the repository speed test needed an additional parameter of "-t 6" in the menu before it gave me usable results.

After the install, as I was setting things up, I ran Konqueror as super user and there were no problems with it at that point. During the time I had it running, I made some changes to the configuration so it takes double-clicks to open files, I set the view mode to Details with Expandable folders, and I also set it to Use common view properties for all folders.

I closed Konqueror at some point, but then a little later I needed it again so I clicked on the menu choice and there was a little activity indicating that it was trying to run, but then it just disappeared. I remembered reporting something similar for the beta2 release, but it stopped happening so I didn't think about it any longer. In this case, I stopped what I was doing and rebooted the machine. After logging back in, I was able to run Konqueror as super user again.

It's not a very important glitch, but I thought I'd put it out here in case there's some fix that can be made to eliminate it.

I'd like to take this opportunity to say thank you to all the people involved in putting together this fine Linux distribution. I haven't had a lot of time to work with it in great detail, but what I have seen so far seems to be working very well. When I discover what I need to do for the PASS server for the 2010 release, I'll show my appreciation with another donation.

I just ran Konqueror as super user, then set the view mode to Details with Expandable folders. I closed it and a little later opened it again as super user with no trouble.

OK, I don't know what to say.

As I mentioned, I ran into something similar in the beta2 release, but I never knew what caused it because it went away on its own. I only posted it for the final release in case it shows up for someone else also and there is some way to track it down. Maybe I was hallucinating, but I don't think so. Anyway, it's gone now on my machine so I'm not going to know what happened.
