ThunderBird Problem?
« on: April 18, 2010, 11:23:39 AM »
Hello Everyone: I just did a clean install of 2010 on my desktop machine and I copied my .thunderbird and .mozilla files over from 2009.2, everything seems to be working great except this one little quirk. When I click on a emailed link in thunderbird it opens Firefox in a new window "under" the thunderbird window. It used to open "over" the TB window. Is this a TB setting or a FF setting? I tried a couple of things in both but nothing has worked yet. Other than that, things are running great. Thanks for any ideas or suggestions, I appreciate them all.

In Firefox Preferences, under "Tabs,"  make sure "When I open a link in a new tab, switch to it immediately" is checked.  I think that may be the problem.

Thank You for the reply TheChief, I did check that one as you suggested , but it still behaves the same way, it may not be broken, but it sure is annoying. I see the FF icon in the taskbar and I have to click on it to see the page. Thanks for the help
