Help retreiving my account (Solved)

Hello guys ....
I have Pclinux 2009 ....
I am still running classic KDE .
I have an issue with my user account recently and it happened for no reason I think.

every time I enter my username and password it gives my the following error :

" Could not start Kstartupconfig. check your installation "

all other accounts work very good ..... but this is my main account with all my favourit settings .

Is there a way for this tp work again ??

and if there is no way ,,,,,,, is it possible to import all my settings to any of the working accounts ?

For 2009, the tmp folder in your home/username is either missing, has the wrong permissions or not symlinked to /tmp

I reset the permission of ownership of the account and applied it to all files ...
It works fine.

I really appreiate your help and the help of all the people around this helpful forum.

I Love PCLinux ..... but with classic KDE .
