Yes I did. Was one of the first things I did. I even tried a manual install, and put a plugin directory into my home firefox folder, but still does not work.  :-(

If I go to Adobe's web page to check to see if the plugin is working, I get a blank box where the animation should show up. But if I click on the box twice, the plugin works? But still does not work on face book.

Okay, just installed PCLinuxOS 2010 on computer downstairs and flash plugin works? Pretty much the same computer, exact same video card (ATI X1550) and both have the same ram, 2 gigs, go figure? One downstairs is an older AMD processor, and the one here is an Intel dual core.

Are you using an old home from another distro or something? For Konqueror, Settings, Configure Konq , Plugins and have it scan for plugins again.

No, I wanted to start fresh so I backed up all my data, re-created my partitions as ext4, formatted them and installed.  I tried to have Konqueror re-scan for plugins last night but it seems ed get stuck at 80%.  It was late though, so maybe I wasn't patient enough.  I'll give it another shot.

When I went through this after installing minime I had to browse a few web sites before it would find the plugins... on the clean install with flash / codecs added the plugin scan inkonqueror found nothing..  I browsed a few pages and re did the scan; the scan found all plugins and everything works.    ???
