Hi to all,
Under 2010 beta 2 I created 2 lvm2 partitions both of 2 GB! the problem is--minime 2010 gives errors on mounting the partitions. 1..cannot pcreate...2.. cannot premove.. so what can I do.

As an addendum, Does LVM work across re-installations? As so far all data in the LVM drive has been destroyed.!!

As a further  addendum,
I have been rsyncing HEAnet to my local repository BUT Synaptic LVM only gets 'LVM' from the local one whereas from a remote repository it get 5 files. With the 5 files installed and a reboot
 LVM works without destroying the LVM drive. Why should this be?

your local repository is synced against what repository and synaptic uses what repository? when was the last time you updated your local repo?

the discrepancy could be cause by an out of date local repository or synaptic use of a different repository that is more up to date than what your local repo uses
