imlib2 - problem to display applets on tint2 panel
« on: April 15, 2010, 02:25:35 PM »
Hi,

I posted a request for a new package, and didn't have any way to check if the actual version package brings in a problem or if it is only in my machine. (no problem at all with fbpanel which do not use imlib2)

The applets I have configured to be run at startup are net_applet, volumeicon and parcellite (memo). Sometimes they come out ok, and sometimes they are invisible (black) or just partly visible (sort of striped). For now, only this lib seems to be a possible target for this problem.  ???

Thanks for any clues ?!

Hi,

It would be very nice if someone would want to try to check about imlib2 and it's use by tint2. I have installed fbpanel at pclinuxos openbox for the future public release, but it's not fully satisfactory, because fbpanel is not developed anymore. So I'll leave both in pclinuxos openbox.

tint2 does not bring this problem in my other usual distribution, where I launch volumeicon with the autostart.sh file as well. In case someone would ask : the number versions of tint2 and imlib2 of archlinux and pclinuxos are exactly the same.
