Auto Login disabled after each update in PCLOS2010 KDE4
« on: April 15, 2010, 08:44:00 AM »
Is anyone else experiencing this problem ?
Each time I update through Synaptic and there is an update available for Login Manager, the Auto Login gets erased and then I have to manually login after booting up and then go back into Login Manager and set it up again to auto login. I am the only one using this laptop.
Any ideas on this ?  Is this a bug ?

Thanks

I just updated via synaptic about 15 minutes ago and it erased my autologin. had to re-establish it again in Login Manager.

If your the only user, what's the problem?  In my case my wife starts the computer up in the morning and she knows nothing of passwords, so it could be a problem.  So I just take the precaution to reboot after an update like that so that I can reset autologin.

Just my 2 cents,
