can not kill process with ctr-alt-esc (SOLVED)
« on: April 14, 2010, 02:09:43 PM »
I had k3b hang, and I went to kill it using ctrl-alt-del.  Iusually then get a skull and crossbones as a mouse pointer, put it over the offending window, and hit enter.

Now it just ignores me.
This is a fresh install of 2010 final. Is there something in systems switches I need to enable?

Xkill didn't enable it.

I never remember installing it, thought it was a generic Linux thing, like ctrl-alt-bs for quick logout.

I wonder if it is Compiz? I'll try it with it turned off when I get a chance.
