Google to Open-source VP8 for HTML5 Video

Summary:
VP8 is the latest codec from On2. This is the company that released the code, (VP3 ?), that eventually became Theora. VP8 is supposedly comparable to H.264. On2 was bought out by Google. Should be good news for the internet video.
