2009.2 file manager not displaying thumbnails
« on: April 13, 2010, 08:42:08 PM »
I can't get file manager to display thumbnails in photo directories.  I have checked all the settings I can find for kong  and sys.
The thumbs are in the thumbnail dir so they are created.  win7 does it ok, so it is not the laptop.  any help appreciated.
Cheers

Here you get -half- the information:  ;D

Somewhere in Konqueror you have a setting that let you set the min/max size for the thumbs.
If the setting is too low, it won't display.
I will look tonight if I can find the exact path, if nobody else beats me to it.

in Konqueror , go to settings / configure konqueror / Review&metadata
there you will see a slider where you can increase the size so that all pics give a thumb

Hope it helps

I tried all of that, any positive results are only for that dir and only for that access.  This is the only 64 bit machine that I have, and I have noticed some of the drop down menu's in kong are different.  Does that make a difference?  Thanks for the replys.

That installation of kong seems to be borked, every time i open kong it loads the pic dir with generic icons.  Will have to install something else.  Thanks
