Bluetooth - has got me stumped!
« on: April 17, 2010, 12:52:23 PM »
I have 2 Intel desktop machines and 2 laptops, a Toshiba Equium A200 and an Aspire One and I now have on all four machines Pclos kde 2010 installed. Prior to Pclos kde 2010 I tried both betas, early in the beta stages my belkin bluetooth dongles worked on all machines until some updates broke the bluetooth. Now that I have Pclos kde 2010 installed on all four machines the bluetooth works ONLY on the laptops. To confirm I hadn't removed any necessary packages from the desktop machines I booted the Pclos kde 2010 CD in live mode on all four machines and hey... kbluetooth only works on the laptops. Have installed blueman but still no joy, I'm now totally stumped on this. Anyone have ideas on this?

OK so I have half a walnut for a brain, all this time Iv never bothered once taking a look at the back of my desktop machines until now, unplugged the bluetooth dongle lead and inserted in another port - solved!
