O K , I have been doing some mad scientist experimenting this afternoon and here are my results. First I squeezed the limes into a glass and poured in some gin and 7-up, that was to get my courage up to tame the lions. Then I took the live cd and went to another computer with a different LCD monitor. No Lines. Also no lines on this widescreen monitor on a windows box, so I really couldn't pin it down to the monitor. SO, I checked the windows box to see what resolution it was running on the widescreen and it showed 1280x960. I went back to PCLinux and tried 1280x960 and no lines. BUT, that resolution on this monitor in PCLinux really sucked, it looked "stretched" , so I got out my calculator and begin to figure another multiple of 1280x960,( I told you it was scientific) and I came up with 1600x1200, I put that into PCC and the lions are gone. If I try 1440x900 or 1650x1050 I get those lines, I guess that may be because I am pushing this video a little to far maybe. At any rate , I am going to mark this solved for now. Thanks to everyone for their ideas and input, I couldn't have done it without your help to get me started thinking.
