« on: April 08, 2010, 08:06:49 AM »
Where do I find the "customized" theme in my kde4 desktop configuration ? I have updated 2010 beta2 regularly and I still can't seem to locate it. am i missing a package that I need? Looking under ,look and feel>style>widget behavior>workspace, it is not there.Thanks.

ff103, look at KCC => Look & Feel => Appearance => Style and then the second tab (Workspace). Is this what you meant?

Check under "Advanced User Settings/Desktop Theme Details" .

EDIT: nope, it's not there. Nevermind...  ::)

Thank you tschommer, that is where I am at, but, I don't see the "customize" theme that was in the first kde4, I want to use two different themes, such as "glassified" for my task bar and maybe "oxygen" for my clock and calendar, it could be that I still don't have a handle on this theme and widget and desktop thing yet. I went to the kde site and tried to follow their instructions about right clicking on the desktop and choosing customize, but I don't have that choice, although it did exist on the first kde4 on 2009.2,  thanks for the reply.

Edit: Thanks Rudge, that is what I was looking for, I will never figure out this new kde, hopefully there will always be a Rudge or a tschommer to bail my butt out when I get into trouble, thanks, I will mark this solved.

It was there? I didn't see it "there" in mine. That's were it USED to be located. Maybe I missed it.
At any rate... glad I could help..

Well, that's where I found it, right where you said it was. Of course after I do another update, it might move  :) at any rate, thanks again.
