Thanks OP,
I just discovered that I actually installed the 2009.2 .
Since I have no problem on My computer, I keep it as is.
Thanks for the info

If it's working with your hardware, that is a totally acceptable decision. Don't fix what isn't broken.

Most of the problems that occur with any new releases are usually hardware specific. If you don't have the hardware that is having problems, there's no reason to not use the release. My problem is that the 2009.2 release was pulled so shortly after release I didn't have a chance to determine what specific hardware was causing the problem. Now, with the 2010 release in sight, it seems like a waste of time to do any forensics on an already pulled release. Like you, I may not have any of the hardware that was causing the problem, so wouldn't learn much anyway.
For all I know, the 2009.2 MiniMe may work fine on 85-90% of the machines it might be run on. It might work on even more. The problem is that I can't specifically say, "If you have hardware
xyz you will have a problem," because I don't know what
xyz is. The best I can do is warn that there were problems reported, and they were sufficient enough to have the .iso removed from the official repositories.
If someone still wants to try installing from this .iso, I would say,
expect problems, and
be happy if you don't get any.
