mp3 to cda conversion?
« on: April 03, 2010, 08:45:24 AM »
I need something to convert an cd with mp3 files to cda format for regular cd player.
I tried converting to to wav and ogg, but player didn't recognize either format.
I'm assuming the files need to be cda format.
I've googled for mp3 decoders, but didn't see anything to covert to cda.
Any ideas?
It's just private mp3 files that a friend uses on speaking engagements but wants to use a regular cd player in his office and entertainment center.

K3b will do it automatically ,open k3b and click on "new audio cd project",open file or cd with mp3's from within k3b and click on each mp3 you want converting.

Just drag and drop the MP3s you want to use on your CD to the window below. The conversion is done while burning the CD.

It will convert the files to WAV in preparation for burning to CD.

Only select the Burn option and the convertion will be done automatically.

set k3b burn speed from auto to something low like 8x for best burn

ok, I have a good one :)
It took 3 tries, and then a different type of cd to burn, but the last one plays in my sony cd player.
I'll work on a few more and if all goes well, I'll add the [SOLVED] to the subject.
Thank-you all very much !
