Memory usage in lxde beta 2 [SOLVED]
« on: April 01, 2010, 08:30:15 AM »
Checking how much memory was being used on a new install of lxde beta2 I found 2 different results. Running the "top" command in lxterminal gives 229MB of used memory from a total of 708MB while lx task manager shows 116MB used memory from a total of 692MB. My laptop was freshly booted so no other apps were running and I did each check without the other utility running. Does anyone know why I get 2 different results? Which is more accurate?
