I have been loading the "lite" versions (E17 LXDE etc) and just noticed something when I wanted to load some other terminal programs.
gnome-terminal loads with no other packages added.
roxterm - says it is:
ROXTerm is a terminal emulator intended to provide similar features to gnome-terminal,
based on the same VTE library, but with a smaller footprint and quicker start-up time.
It achieves this by not using the Gnome libraries and by using a separate applet to
provide the configuration GUI. It can be used as a ROX application, as the name implies,
or in any other X environment.
but it loads:
evolution-data-server (2.28.2-2pclos2010)
gnome-control-center (2.28.1-3pclos2010)
gnome-desktop (2.28.2-4pclos2010)
gnome-screensaver (2.28.0-2pclos2010)
gnome-settings-daemon (2.28.1-4pclos2010)
gnome-themes (2.28.1-4pclos2010)
libbabl0.1_0 (0.1.2-1pclos2010)
libgegl0.1_0 (0.1.2-1pclos2010)
libgnomekbd4 (2.28.2-3pclos2010)
libgweather (2.28.0-3pclos2010)
libgweather1 (2.28.0-3pclos2010)
libunique0 (1.1.6-2pclos2010)
libxulrunner1.9.2.2 (1.9.2.2-1pclos2010)
metacity (2.28.0-3pclos2010)
roxterm (1.18.1-1pclos2010)
xsltproc (1.1.26-1pclos2010)
Did someone get the dependencies backwards???
