2009 to 2010 (SOLVED)
« on: March 21, 2010, 09:45:58 AM »
Just a matter of doing an install from the Live CD as if it were a new install?

Would I have to partition the HDDs again?  (A prospect that appals me!)

You can tell it to use the existing partitions.
You can just install in the / partition and leave your /home intact (back it up first ) just in case.

OK so straightforward then. I have backed up /home. I gather the installed apps won't survive.

 Thanks

Not quite sure whether I have 3 or 4 at the moment, but thanks for the warning.
