problem connection Wi-Fi
« on: March 19, 2010, 02:11:23 AM »
Hi,

I run this morning the last Live-Cds of PcLinuxOS 2010 beta in the KDE flavor and also with Gnome. I like this distribution a lot but I have a problem with the Wi-Fi:

The applet manager shows the the connection is etablished and indeed I see its name ("Network is up on interface Wireless (Wi-Fi) (wlan0) - Connected linklevel 65%") but I can't access any address from the browsers.

From the terminal, I tried a "ifconfig", but the answer is that this command is unknown.

A ping on my router (Gateway & DNS = 192.168.1.1) says that the "destination host is unreachable"!

Do you have an idea how to resolve this issue ? This is the only thing that prevent me to install PcLinuxOS.

Thanks a lot.
