MiniMe-09 Starts Freezing on Boot
« on: March 17, 2010, 03:29:31 PM »
My Minime has been booting fine for months now it hangs part way through. It goes to "starting NMB Service OK" then just sets there. I've waited for up to 10 minutes with no movement. The closest error is about four lines before this: "Starting nfsdrpc, nfsd: Version 4 requires TCP protocol Failed". Then about 3 more "ok" entries and it hangs at "Starting NMB.
Also instead of the boot screen I usually get I get the plain green screen.

I can't say if it is related or not but this happened the first time I tried to boot 09 after installing Beta 10 but beta 10 and its grub is on a separate hard drive. I have been using BIOS to chose which to boot. PCLOS-10 on the other hard drive does boot fine. As I said may be unrelated.
