Volume Icon in Ssytem Tray
« on: March 16, 2010, 09:19:03 AM »
Not sure why, but sometimes the Volume icon disappears from the system tray.  Logging off and and back on fixes it.

I looked in the Control Center and didn't see a way to bring it back up without logging off and on.  Did I overlook something?

I cannot say why it disappears, though getting it back should be as simple as re-launching kmix (Multimedia, Sound, KMix), assuming that is what you use.

Cheers!

Yep.:)  It is KMix.  I'll definitely do this next time it happens.:)  I'll also do a Ctrl-Esc to see if it's running in the background or not.:)
