I'm running the newest PCLinuxOS 2010 and it comes with Gimp 2.6.8
I use Gimp all the time in Windows but I haven't been able to add brushes or scripts under Linux.
I have three that I would like to start of with.
gmic which is a zip file
blur_and_shadow.scm
chisel.scm
...
Turns out all I had to do was from my file browser click on view and show hidden files,
so I could see the Gimp program folder and in it are the brush folders and script folders and such.
Then all I had to do was move the files to the appropriate folders.
