Extensions for Chromium?

Have installed Chromium from repository and like it very much.  This is build 4.0.269.0.  When visiting web sites for extensions, notice is given that they cannot be added to this version (Linux).  What I would like to add is Fast Dial, which works well in Firefox and Opera.  I am running 2009.2 fully updated.
Does anyone know a link to a site that might have this extension that would work with this version?

Take a look in the March 2010 issue of the PCLinuxOS Magazine, in the Web Browser Roundup article. There is a link in that article pointing you where to go to get add-ons for Chromium. I've used a number of them and haven't had much problem, although I forget which ones I've installed, since Chromium is not the browser I use on a daily basis.

parnote, I checked out the link shown in the March magazine and it's a site I had already googled.
It states that the extensions cannot be added to our PCLOS version as noted below:


   Google Chrome Extensions are not supported on your browser. Please download the Beta Channel of Google     Chrome to install extensions.


So until some of our developers have a chance to update to a later version,  I guess we're out of luck
with the extensions.  That's OK, since I know they have their hands full with the current betas of 2010.

I have uploaded chromium-browser-5.0.353.41529-1pclos2010.src.rpm to the contribs ftp server, so Texstar can do his magic to get it into the 2010 repo's.

Thank you so much, Andy.  Once it's added to the repos, I'll give it a shot and hope the extensions are installable.

Checked the repo this morning and there it was.
I've already visited the Chrome Extensions site and added Speed Dial, Text Zoom, Search
and they work great.

hk, I used 'pclosusers.com'.
Distribution: pclinuxos/2007
Section(s): main extra nonfree kde gnome

Be sure you click the 'Reload' button after changing repositories.
I have updated chromium on both 2009.2 and 2010 beta2.
