Ok, it looks like my sound card may not be able to mix mic, and speaker sounds.
I need to record from both mc and speaker while recording my desktop using recordmydesktop. I have been trying for months to get this to work, and I think it is my sound card. I just booted up into vista.... and installed camtasia, and even it had the only option to record from my mic, and not from my speaker. So I am thinking it will not work, and I need a sound card that can do that.
I also would like one that will work with linux, as I don't want to have to run vista...
