Hi Newlife,
which getopenoffice version do you use? Please open a terminal and enter: rpm -qa getopenoffice* If you have an earlier version than 1.6-2 then please try updating to the latest valid version for a 2009 install: copy/paste the following two commands into a terminal in your user-account:wget http://kde3.pclosusers.com/pclosfiles/pclinuxos/2007/RPMS.main/getopenoffice-1.6-2pclos2010.i586.rpm
su -c 'rpm -Uvh getopenoffice-1.6-2pclos2010.i586.rpm && apt-get clean'Now you can update to, or install, the new OpenOffice 3.2 by running getopenoffice in the terminal or from
PCmenu -> System -> Configuration -> Get OpenOffice
hope this helps,
