<SOLVED> Get Open Office keeps stalling...

I have searched recent Open Office and Get open office posts....

Just installed PCLOS 2009.2 and all works well, EXCEPT GetOpenOffice stalls after downloading about half of the files. It stalls at 11% on file:
ooobasis3.2-sdk

Then window states:
OpenOffice could not be installed due to either
- Internet connection failure or interupt, or
- manual interupt of the OpenOffice installation.
Please try running GetOpenOffice again a little later.

Have tried MANY times and it stops here....

which getopenoffice version do you use? Please open a terminal and enter:

rpm -qa getopenoffice* If you have an earlier version than 1.6-2 then please try updating to the latest valid version for a 2009 install: copy/paste the following two commands into a terminal in your user-account:

wget http://kde3.pclosusers.com/pclosfiles/pclinuxos/2007/RPMS.main/getopenoffice-1.6-2pclos2010.i586.rpm

getopenoffice in the terminal or from
PCmenu -> System -> Configuration -> Get OpenOffice

SOLVED.... except I get a general input/output error on closing OO.

To solve, in root, I downloaded the file:
ooobasis3.2-sdk

Then copied it to var/cache/apt/archives followed by clicking GetOpenOffice again. 
All went well and installed OK except for the error message on closing OO.
