Grip error - solved! by using alternative software - thanks.
« on: March 07, 2010, 11:31:48 PM »
Hi everyone

I would like to copy some CDs to my computer, and change to mp3 to use with DVD video.

I get this error message on trying "rip and encode":

Warning, invalid encoder executable.  Check your encoder config. and ensure it specifies the full path to the encoder executable.

What do I need to do please?

Many thanks :).

You want to make MP3s out of an AudioCD? Use K3B - its great.

OK I already looked at it but must not be doing something correctly!  Will go back and try again.

Yes I want to take them from a CD, encode and save to a file in PC.  Thanks

Actually it's not really as the Grip error still exists, it's just that we've gone lateral!  :)
