Music playing along with a screensaver

Hello PCLinuxOS users.  I'm trying to rewrite a screensaver *.desktop file to allow a song to play as the screensaver is going.  Also I would like the music to stop once the screensaver stops.  So I need it to function such like this command:

Screensaver & play foo.mp3 until 'Screensaver' stopsMight anyone have any ideas as how to do this?
