Open Synaptic and type task-enlightenment into the search feature. Click on task-enlightenment and apply.  Log out of your current desktop, click on 'session' and chose E17.  Log back in.  There ya have it!!

Thanx! At now using 2010 beta1 + LXDE, because KDE4 is too hard for my laptop, albeit works if not much tasks. Is it existing of E-17 beta anywhere?:) Interesting to taste. Previously tried to configure enlightenment myself and there were some troubles, but looks fine.

Hang in there just a liddle bit longer.  I'm currently loading up an e17 beta iso.  Once it's tested by the devs, you should see it within a few more dayz.   ;D
