I'm just glad we have a choice. Isn't that what it's all about??
Whatever suits your needs

the only thing I miss from KDE 4 is the possibility to see what is inside a folder without open it but I can live without that feature, the wobbly windows and all that went out of fashion in my life, even the cube... maybe I'm getting old

What I love from e17 is how easy is to configure to your needs without slowing the system. I believe an OS should use the least possible resources freeing them for the apps. I know many think that an OS MUST be pretty, flashy and all that (and some of them still use Vista), e17 has the best of both worlds.
