In synaptic I hit "Reload" and then "Upgradable". That's when I see "libxcb-util-devel".
Gotcha! Synaptic is showing you that this is the only file that needs updating (I think its a library file for the X system)
If you are not having any
untoward behaviour you may want to hold off updating it (or not as the case may be

)
Opera not free 10.10-1pclos201
Whenever I use Opera in VirtualBox I use the above entry to install it and that seems to work just fine - I'd imagine if any of the others need to be installed Synaptic will pick up on it and install them as well (or notifiy you)
Been doing some reading (gets me into trouble). Looks like I need to upgrade
to kde4 BUT HOW? Also it might be to soon as I read about lots of bugs in it.
See the following link posted by Texstar,
BUT as PCLinuxOS KDE4 2010 will be available shortly you may want to seriously consider holding off. (or possibly installing it to another partition or hard drive)
http://www.pclinuxos.com/forum/index.php/topic,63698.0.htmlNOTE 1: the new PCLinuxOS KDE4 2010 beta distro requires a fresh install so you may want to begin backing any data and settings you want to keep...(alternatively, if you have your "/Home/ on a separate partition you can
re-use that - I know lots of forum members are planning on doing that - but I think I'll just copy any data back over to a
new /Home)
NOTE 2: If you want keep using KDE 3.5x
YouCanToo froze one of the repo's (see following link) which will be available to use, with the proviso that it will stay in its current state. Read YouCanToo's post for more info.
