Non pass member
« on: February 26, 2010, 10:00:55 PM »
Hello to the one that knows

Could someone tell me please what is a 'non pass member'?
How does this effect me and my synaptic downloads? I made a small donation late last year.
Thanks

williamj

===============

At times I think I have lost the plot but where do I see this 'non pass member' notification and what is the 'pass server' scoundrel?
I shall be happy and market the query SOLVED once I find out.

thanks once again

I'm interested from the opposite stance, as a non (as yet) donation user ?
What difference is there between a Non Pass member, concerning content in the repositories ?

No difference except timing... 1st PASS, then within 24 - 48 hours, all fully sync'd repositories.

Of course, there's the satisfaction of knowing you've donated to the development, etc. of this great OS!

If it jams, force it.... if it breaks, ... it needed to be replaced anyway!!

Thanks for explaining that !

I have no need of a reward to donate, I already have PCLinuxOS.
