[SOLVED]Time & Date Display Settings
« on: February 23, 2010, 07:26:54 PM »
I was wondering if anyone has came up with a way to make the time & date info displayed on the taskbar look different. Like using 2 different font types, colors and sizes for time and date.

I used to be able to do this in kicker's date/time field back on 3.5. But so far it seems like it was tossed out in KDE4. Or is it still possible? Maybe just done a different way?

I think the only settings are under "Digital Clock Settings" after a right click. However, The default clock is not the only one that you can use. It is just a widget and there are a few different ones. Remove the default one and try some of the others.  ;)

Dont use Digital Clock... Go to synaptic and install Adjustable Clock... It looks like digital clock BUT

You can even use the HTML code to setup the way it looks...

its more adjustable...

You can add it to the panel like every other widget.

Ah, thanks AndrzejL!

That got me closer to what I had before on 3.5!
