Uhhh, yeah, I don't want to waste a time and disk space for deleted files from usb sticks. Can I do some magic trick for my Phoenix to delete files from usb sticks permanently without waiting for moving those to wastebasket? After that I have to empty my wastebasket also. It could be with some popup warning like: Are you sure to delete? But I never change my mind in those cases.
I've Athlon 2800+ 512Mb ram, 160+80 Gb HDD, Ati Radeon M-9600 (was a problem), Dual boot for WinXP and PCLOS Phoenix 2009.4 with all updates at this time. Help me.

shift+del should eliminate the files in window and kde3/4 and xfce(gnome probably)

"Can I disable the trash?

No, you can not. But you can do for example:

   1.      use 'SHIFT + del' to surpass the trash bin and immediately delete something for real.
   2.      use cron to clean the trash every now and then."

this will not use the trashcan but remember that won't let you recover files neither
