Ok, this seems to work:

In KCC:
Configure Your Desktop -> System Administration -> Startup and Shutdown -> Autostart -> Add Program ->
Office -> LibreOffice 3.4 -> Ok -> Application -> Command ->
kdocker -d 20 -n "LibreOffice" libreoffice3.4 %U

I appreciate that most of you seem to have Cray computers.  I am even jealous .... a lot!   >:( ;D

However - on me old Celeron 2.0 the quickstarter made LO coming up instantly - which I loved.  So I do hope it is considered to be reimplemented at a later stage.

If not I just live with it ....  ;)

Did you try this, longtom? It works very much like quickstart. Once I set it up just to see that it works, I've kept it.

Thanks for the tip, Galen.  However - on that centenary of mine I run LXDE Mini and Phoenix Mini for obvious reasons.  Any way to do it there?

I don't know without researching, but if I find something, I'll report back here.
