posting spellcheck langauge
« on: February 19, 2010, 09:52:16 AM »
Hello,
Is there a way of changing the spell check language when posting in the forum. At the moment it is I think set as American.
Due to the onset of old age I need all the help I can get to remember things I should er---- remember.
When I think I have spelt/spelled something correctly in English-English the American-English creates FUD in my mind and even correctly spelled/spelt grammer/grammar looks odd.
Thankz.
trustytrev. :)
If there's a harder way to do something I'll probably find it.

The spelling check is provided by your browser/system, not by the forum, so you need to check your locale/language/dictionary settings in your desktop (SystemSettings for KDE 4). You might need to download appropriate dictionaries in Synaptic.

Certainly I have downloaded all the British variants of software (Firefox and OpenOffice in particular) I could find. That probably helped a lot in my case.
